At Penrith Rugby Club, following the successful application for the installation of the Artificial Grass Pitch, the outcome of which was delayed due to planning issues, the Club have agreed with the RFU and the contractor that the start date for the project this July was unrealistic and would not allow sufficient time for completion before the end of October.
Consequently the club have mutually agreed that work should be deferred until Spring next year so that it is available for use for the new season starting in September 2018.
This means that use of the existing pitches and training areas have to be carefully controlled this season.
